Classes & Curriculum
At Qubaa Kindergarten School we embrace the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC ) that allows children to make choices and provide them with opportunities, through play and other experiences thus developing learning behaviour.
DAYCARE (3-4YRS)
The little angels class / play group enjoys activities like colouring, painting, scribbling, cutting and tearing that allows development of their small finger muscles.
Teachers and Care-takers are always available giving them warmth, care and safety in and outside their classrooms.
PRE-PRIMARY ONE (PP1)
Children of 4-5 years have more developed finger muscles than Day Care, hence can paste and stick, draw pictures, painting, coloring, printing and modelling visible object.
A child in PP1 class can reorganize pictures, read and write simple work.They usually participate in quiz and riddle games.
PRE-PRIMARY TWO (PP2)
This is the oldest class in Kindergarten where they can do a lot of activities with minimal supervision.
They can read sentence, work out simple sums and more.
MADRASAH
The knowledge of Diin is meant to be in hand as that of secular.
Madrasah classes are conducted on each stream where children recite Qur-an verses fluently, memorise, speak arabic and understand arabic.
INTRODUCING SMART CLASSES
By following the New Curriculum directed by the Government Of Kenya i.e Competent Based Curriculum(CBC), our classrooms are equipped with internet connectivity, a workstation computer and a digital projector that aids a teacher in conducting the lessons seamlessly and effectively.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
Our Curriculum design has been developed to embrace the competence based learning approach as stipulated in the basic education curriculum revolves around competency based curriculum CBC:

INDOOR ACTIVITIES

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
The children explore in co-curricular activities such as sack race, potatoe race, filling and emptying. It encourages children to be active, strong and energetic.
On Fun day the children perform different activities for enjoyment; face painting, singing and dancing.
SCHOOL CLUBS
Kindergarten section has several clubs which a learner opt to join and have fun out of class lessons. Clubs like Swimming, Taekwondo, Kids skating, Art & Craft
